We'll practice chopping and mincing vegetables as we prepare Potato Leek Soup with Cheese, Minestrone Soup and Butternut Squash with Red Pepper Soups. FEBRUARY 7 MARDI GRAS PARTY
We're going to let the good times roll with a party-worthy menu of Crabcakes Remoulade; Chicken Andouille Hash, Sweet Potato Pecan Pie and Cafe Brulot. Join us for this hands-on class and preview of a mid-winter holiday like no other.
FEBRUARY 21 SALMON IN WINTER
The rich flavor and nutritional benefits of sustainably farmed Atlantic salmon makes it the ideal seafood for winter meals. We will review handling and storing fish at home. Our recipes: Salmon Scallops in Mustard Sauce; Salmon Pot au Feu with Root Vegetables and Anchovy Butter and Salmon Quiche with Fennel and Capers. There's more: a Lemon Mousse for dessert!
MARCH 7 ST PATRICK'S DAY MENU
This is the perfect opportunity to prepare a menu that celebrates the rich, earthy flavors of Irish cuisine. Our menu includes Mussels with Tomatoes, Garlic and Lager; Brown Soda Bread with Smoked Salmon Pate; Beef and Guiness Stew and Apple Cake with Custard Sauce.
Classes meet from 10am-1pm and include lunch. Recipes, aprons and coffee service provided.
